   Tips-

  1.  What to do and not to do for your photo shoot

Don't get your hair cut the day before your pictures.  You will not know how to style it.  Get it cut two or so weeks in advance, just in case don't try anything new or crazy either.

Don't worry about zits or blemishes on your face.  Using make-up in pictures is good, just not if it is too much.

Don't cake on the makeup. it is easier to take away blemishes than to take away lots of makeup in editing. You want your face to look fresh & fine, not cakey.

Hope these tips helped, more to come soon with clothing dos and dont's.

  2.  What not to wear; keeping it pretty simple

I discourage the following which will be distracting from your faces:

    What should you wear?

Try to keep it pretty simple. Khakis and jeans are always great for photos. Pair it with one of your favorite simple shirts with colors such as black or white etc. and you’re good.

Remember to pay attention to details such as your shoes. You will want to make sure they don’t clash with your outfit or your shoes aren’t scuffed up or dirty. Sometimes, bare feet are the best way to go. Last of all pay close attention to your nails. Make sure there is no dirt in your fingernails.

Bold or Stripe prints or patterns, clothes with words on it, turtlenecks, and too much accessories or jewlery.  Short sleeves are ok, but I recommend not  wearing sleeveless tops or tanks.  Too much skin showing is distraction.

Hope this helps in choosing the right outfit.

If your doing a family session I suggest that you coordinate clothes like all black or white etc.
